Steve and Laurie Vanderzwaag are members of Canadian South America Mission (CANSAM). CANSAM was formed in 1982 as a legalized entity to facilitate the sending of Canadian missionaries to South America. The Vanderzwaags are currently based in Windsor, Ontario, managing the financial and administrative needs of CANSAM while they work to raise the financial support needed for them to return to their field of ministry. Pray that God will bring abundant financial provision to enable the Vanderzwaag’s ministry in Bolivia.

The Evangelical Alliance Mission (TEAM) is a global missions agency that partners with local churches to send missionaries and establish reproducing churches among many nations. South America Mission (SAM) and TEAM have been collaborating to further God’s global purposes together. Please pray for cohesiveness of the leaders of both organizations as they integrate ministries in Latin America.

Katie Beth Wilcke serves at the Santa Cruz Christian Learning Center in Bolivia as a 4th grade teacher. She is now in the States for one year to report to churches and engage her supporters before returning to service. Pray for Katie Beth as she enjoys time with her grandparents, finds time for necessary planning and reflection, and works to raise financial support.

Please pray for Jacob Lester and Misty Smith, interns who took a short-term trip to Bolivia in June as they pursue God’s future plans for them in ministry after college. Please pray for the Lord’s guidance and direction as they both desire to be full time missionaries.

Pray for Don and Vera Bergson while they are on Home Ministry Assignment (HMA). Pray for the Lord’s provision of their full support needs as they meet with partners and share how the Lord is working in and through them at the Ammi Training Center. Pray that this season will also be one where they are rejuvenated physically, emotionally and spiritually.

Pray for Jaime and Heather Azuaje assigned to Ayacucho church planting. They are in the support raising stage with the goal to arrive to the field in January 2018 to receive Spanish and church planting training and then join the Ayacucho ministry team later in the year. Pray that this season will be one of great ministry preparation and connection with partners.

Pray for Dalmiro and Laura Ortiz and their children who are on Home Ministry Assignment (HMA) for the next year. Pray that this season will be one of great growth and ministry as a family in a different context as they connect with partners and supporters.

Jeff and Beth HAuse began their Home Ministry Assignment last month. While in the U.S., they need to increase their support while also striving to use this as a time for ministry. Please pray that God will use them to minister to their supporting churches and individuals as well as whomever else God may bring into their path.

Pray for Hana Kamiya as she finishes her Home Ministry Assignment (HMA) and raises support to attend language school in Costa Rica September – December. Praise God for this season of restoration she has experienced while she has been on HMA.

Praise God for the good visit Kaylee Wayner had to Ayacucho, Peru, and the opportunity she had to see and engage in the ministry there, gaining a vision for what her involvement in the future could look like. Pray for the Lord’s leading in her life next ministry assignment.
