Eve Van Devender is a missionary with South America Mission serving in Riohacha, Colombia. Please pray for God’s peace for Eve as she wraps up her ministry in Riohacha and returns to the US for her home ministry assignment, beginning December 2017, at which time she will begin serving at SAM’s home office. Please pray for a smooth transition and for God’s wisdom and guidance for her future assignment.

Craig and Mary DeLille are missionaries with South America Mission (SAM) serving in Recife, Brazil, in a community called Dois Unidos. For the DeLille’s, music is a platform to reach the Dois Unidos community for Christ and through their leadership and initiative SAM opened a music school called Touch of the Master. Additionally, Craig serves as the Field Director for SAM Brazil. Please pray for Craig and Mary who begin their home ministry assignment (HMA) in October. They will be based in the Memphis, TN area until March. Please pray for God’s provision as the DeLille’s engage supporters during HMA to raise funds to support the music school and to sustain their missionary service in Brazil.

David and Lisa Speyers are missionaries with South America Mission serving in Pucallpa, Peru. David is a pilot and mechanic with SAMAIR, an aviation ministry that partners with mission agencies and Peruvian churches to grow the church in remote areas of eastern Peru. From October 2017 to March 2018 the Speyers will be on home ministry assignment (HMA) in the US. Pray for their time in the states as they travel to Holland, MI and Dallas, TX to connect with sending churches and to raise financial support to return to Peru.

Jorge and Ginny Ensico are missionaries with South America Mission serving in Bogota, Colombia. They are currently on a ten-month home ministry assignment (HMA) in Fort Mill, SC. Please pray for a smooth transition for their children as they begin attending school in Fort Mill and for safety as the family travels to Atlanta, GA and Chicago, IL in October to meet with partners and raise financial support to return to Colombia.

Bryce and Hilary Fonda are missionaries with South America Mission (SAM) serving in Pucallpa, Peru, with SAM’s aviation ministry, SAMAIR. They are currently on medical leave in the US. Pray that this is a time of rest, spiritual and physical rejuvenation, and healing for the Fondas. Pray that God encourages them as they meet with senders and raise funds to return to Peru.

Emilee Dickman is a missionary serving with South America Mission in Santa Cruz, Bolivia. She is in the States for a few months to report to churches and engage her supporters before returning to service at the Santa Cruz Christian Learning Center. Pray that God would introduce Emily to new groups of people who will hear her story and respond by investing financially in Emily’s ministry.

Mike and Marcy Brown are missionaries serving with South America Mission in Pucallpa, Peru. They are now in the States for a few months to report to churches and engage their supporters before returning to service at SAM Academy, which is a 1st-12th grade missionary school in Pucallpa. Pray for God’s provision for the Browns as they raise support to return to SAM Academy, and please pray for God to lead Mike and Marcy as they determine their teaching and administrative roles at the school for the new term.

Missio Nexus exists to advance the effectiveness of the Great Commission community in North America in global mission. Please pray for the leaders attending the Missio Nexus annual conference September 21-23. Pray for effective networking and interaction among the leaders. Pray for God’s vision and discernment in decision making as they focus this year on the foundations of the great commission: Evangelism, Discipleship, and Church Planting.
